Being a long time fan of Nike and it’s design evolution over the years, I wanted to pay homage to the brand by creating this presentation, featuring Michael Jordan and the rich history of this legendary shoe.

Formatting on the slides emulates classic, minimal, and bold Nike design featuring themes of where the Jordan 1 debuted for the first time. I used a halftone effect in bold photos, as publications and photography were tied to mass culture at the time. Another element that wasn’t as prevalent at the time, but is more known as part of the Nike brand now, is the presence of the bubble in some of the shoes. I wanted to subtly add this into the slides, so as you’ll notice, the headers are in the shape of the iconic bubble.
