Built near Saks 5th Avenue, Noodle Noodle’s recipes have a flavor as rich and deeply rooted as the history of the land it sits on. To make this logo striking, simple, and modern, I utilized negative space to create an overlap visual between the chopsticks and bowl shape. I chose red-orange to evoke feelings of hunger, and black to create deep contrast. Secondary colors I used to create dimension in UI applications were white and dark gray.
To create one element that may help stand out between the rest, is the use of the wavy line to look like layers of noodles (seen in the app UI for the hamburger menu, and underlining in Google display ads below).
