The Masque of the Red Death

I recontextualized Edgar Allan Poe’s classic novel The Masque of the Red Death in the year COVID-19 started. So as not to modernize the original text too much, I used a serif typeface throughout the book including the front cover. Designing a grid where I could utilize margins, I drew parallels with the original text (with supplemented context), and pictures relevant to the events of the Coronavirus pandemic.
